The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department within CHA Bundang Women’s Hospital consists of specialized centers and clinics including the High-Risk Pregnancies Clinic, Gynecologic Endoscopic Surgery Center, da Vinci Robotic Surgery Center, Uterine Myoma Center, Urogynecology Clinic and Pediatric/Adolescent Gynecology Clinic, providing patients with highly specialized care addressing a range of obstetric and gynecologic conditions. The Department has a team of highly-qualified faculty members specializing in the areas of obstetrics and gynecology and is equipped with state-of-the-art research facilities. As of March 2017, a total of 17 obstetrics and gynecology staff members (not including the Gynecologic Cancer Center and Fertility Center) offer top-tier medical services to patients.
Gynecologic Endoscopic Surgery Center: Less scarring, less pain & faster recovery

The Gynecologic Endoscopic Surgery Center performs minimally invasive surgeries using laparoscopy or hysteroscopy instead of the traditional abdominal operation. Endoscopic/hysteroscopic surgeries are associated with minimized incisions, less pain, less blood loss, and shorter hospital stays compared to traditional methods.
Da Vinci Robotic Surgery Center
The da Vinci Robot Surgery enables delicate and complex operations executed with only a handful of small incisions. In particular, da Vinci Single-Site Surgery enables operations through a single small incision in the patient’s umbilicus during a hysterectomy, ovarian cystectomy, salpingo-oophorectomy or myomectomy.

The Department was ranked No. 1 in terms of the number of embolization of uterine myoma which is a non-surgical procedure to destroy the myoma through the femoral artery, and of the Exablate treatment using the MRI-guided focused on ultrasound technology.

The staff provides expectant mothers and their babies with a safe medical environment by offering specialized care for high-risk pregnancies, safe delivery of premature infants and early diagnosis of fetal abnormalities such as congenital fetal cardiac defects. The medical team can rapidly respond to any emergencies of the baby as well as of the mother by closely collaborating with other disciplines and departments. Also by employing a variety of birthing methods, the staff helps reduce the pain of the mother in delivery and maximize opportunities for the mother and the child to bond, leading to a greater satisfaction of the mother.

The Urogynecology Clinic is renowned for its highly effective treatment results thanks to a highly distinguished medical team. The Pediatric/Adolescent Gynecology Clinic provides specialized care for pediatric and adolescent gynecological disorders, helping young children and adolescents take the first step to becoming a healthy woman and raising awareness of the importance of regular check-ups among them.
