Based on rich clinical experience acquired so far since it first opened 20 years ago, the department has been committed to providing the optimal care for patients. In addition, the team is making efforts to provide swift treatment and care for patients transferred from another hospital in the region. To make it happen, it has created networks for active collaboration with cities in the southeastern region of Gyeonggi province including Seongnam, Yongin, Gwangju, Icheon, Hanam, Yangpyeong and Yeoju.

For patient convenience, the Department of Orthopedic Surgery of CHA Bundang Medical Center has established a structure for the smooth and rapid process starting from outpatient service to examinations, treatment, procedures, hospitalization, surgery and rehabilitation. With the systematic collaboration among medical staff, the team is able to provide seamless patient care without delay even when some of them are absent to participate in academic conferences or training.

Orthopedics That Constantly Studies and Advances

The team of orthopedic specialists publishes tens of research papers in the Science Citation Index (E) international journals every year. Furthermore, it strives to carry out the biological treatment including state-of-the-art stem cell research and apply them in clinical cases, based on which the department continues to evolve to a higher level of medicine.
