With the increasing number of high risk pregnancy and preterm birth, so is the need for intensive care for newborn babies. Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated with 40 beds, the largest in Gyeonggi Province, offering the best medical care service in the nation.

Specialized high quality pediatric treatment

A team of professors in pediatric diseases is dedicated to providing specialized treatment in all of the pediatric diseases and disorders- respiratory system, allergy, nervous system, sleep, heart, kidney, endocrine system, growth, hemato-oncology, digestive system, and infection. The Clinics in respiratory/allergy, sleep and growth/puberty allow pediatric patients to receive intensive medical care of diseases that require through test and treatment and consistent management.

Prevention of atopic dermatitis in partnership with local community

The Department annually participates in a campaign aimed at preventing atopic dermatitis in children in Seongnam City. The medical team visits primary schools in the City to give allergy information and raise awareness of the importance of preventing atopic dermatitis to students, parents and teachers. The Department is campaigning "Healthy children, Happy Family" not only in hospital but also with schools, national institutions and children.
