Designated as the organ transplantation hospital by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2000, the CBMC Organ Transplantation Center started kidney transplantation and now performs liver, kidney, corneal, bone marrow and stem cell transplantation with the success rate of 100%. Its organ-specific transplantation programs provide collaborative care by medical specialists and supporting departments to manage transplantation patients and handle overall transplantation procedures. The Center also makes efforts to promote organ donation following brain death to facilitate organ donation and transplant programs.
