Precise and Sophisticated Surgery beyond the Limits of
the Human Hand
CBMC introduced the da Vinci Xi System, a state-of-the-art robotic surgical system, which takes the excellence in complex operations up a notch. The da Vinci® Xi is the latest technology that enables surgeons to use the robotic system to perform laparoscopic surgery. During the procedure, the surgeon opens an incision and operates on the affected area, sitting in front of the remote console to remotely control the tridimensional magnified image from the surgical camera and robot arms of five to eight millimeters in diameter suitable for the operation.
- Almost scarless robotic surgery using a single port in the navel with fast recovery
- The first surgical team in Korea that successfully operates simultaneously on double cancers (prostate cancer and gallbladder cancer) located on the opposite sides through a single port
- Robotic surgery applied in gynecology to preserve fertility and going further, ensure aesthetic effects
